We are not a huge corporation, but just people that wanted to provide affordable housing and do it better than it is being done. We believe buying mobile home parks should be easy process and real estate investing is our primary focus. We wanted our growth to be steady and well planned, this means you get personalized attention and consistent assurance that we will do what we say and we always care about our transactions and business partners.
Even though we are a small business, our experience and ideas are not. Our team has managed and directed close to $2 billion in assets for some of the largest operators in Manufactured housing, luxury apartments, low-income housing, and mixed-use properties. We use this knowledge to develop operational strategies and out of the box thinking to achieve better returns for our owners and help our partners achieve their goals as well. Wesley Hays is the President of Diamond H Capital, LLC, a real estate investment firm. Wes is an accomplished leader in real estate and has vast experience in several real estate sectors. Wes, over his career, has created wealth for the companies that he has been involved with by using creative thinking to overcome obstacles and turning troubled assets profitable.
Wes founded Diamond H capital with the idea that we can streamline and bring greater efficiencies to Mobile Home Parks, along with removing the stigma of "trailer parks." Wes owns communities in the mid-west and is active in all long-term and day-to-day operations. Wes, prior to DHC, was the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer for the 5th largest operator of Manufactured Housing Communities in the United States. During his time as CEO/COO, his company was ranked in INC 5000 Fastest Growing Companies. In his first two years, Wes helped grow the company to 253 communities. During his tenure, Wes directed the development of several new processes, organizational restructures, software upgrades, and increase in several key operational metrics for his company. Preceding that, Wes oversaw a portfolio of affordable housing apartments (both LIHTC and Section 8) in the Midwest. Additionally, Wes worked for 2 of the largest privately held manufactured housing community operators in the United States overseeing large portfolios and a luxury apartment owner/operator.
Wes received his B.S. in Management with a focus on Entrepreneurship from Missouri State University and is an active member of Institute of Real Estate Management. He is married to his beautiful wife Whittney (brownie points) and they live in the Kansas City Area.
